I had a similar experience at around the same age. In my case it was Douglas Adam's 1990 documentary for the BBC called Hyperland. All about the Internet and the web before I'd even heard of such things. I remember thinking at the time that the stuff in the documentary would never happen in my lifetime. Luckily it's on Youtube so I can reminisce.
