A multi-node Prometheus setup is significantly more complex to design and operate than a Linux software RAID mirror, especially once you throw in Grafana, Alertmanager, and so on. Distributed anything makes it harder. The layer 7 may 'support' this, but it's not a plug and play setup. (It also requires more hardware.) (I'm the author of the linked-to entry.) |
