I talked to all 5 women in tech that started to study with me. 1 got her degree together with 20 men from over 120 students, the other all changed subjects after the first semesters. How can there be discrimination if there wasn't even a possibility for it? This was technical computer science that is even worse than general computer science in regards to gender ratio. It just makes no sense at all, it defies any logic to propose this can be discrimination. There might be some cases, but there needs to be an effect that is far more relevant. The numbers of people starting computer science is evidence you cannot just reject, you leave reality behind at that point. I lived with women in a shared apartment who studied economics. They simply didn't like computer science. |
