As an old Java / SpringBoot developer doing manual work full-time since a few months, I can relate pretty much to this experience. I think the root cause of your troubles is lack of involvement in the business you are working for. Try switching for a lower-paid PHP development job. These are often closer to business. Sign up with a freelance platform and take on short down-to-earth projects. If nothing helps, pick up a parcel delivery job for a while. Go volunteer for Ukrainian refugees. In any case, be ready to cut your revenue by half before you start feeling better. P.S. I did all of the above and more. Still recovering. P.P.S. The ultimate solution for your would be to open a business. I tried that as well, but mine failed, dragging a few years of my life with it. |
