Yes, and the way I did was just by reading more, but reading speed is quickly capped by reading comprehension. Be skeptical of anyone who claims very high words-per-minute (WPM), for they do not comprehend what they read, but fool themselves into believing they do. Similarly, not everything can be understood at the same speed - certain things demand slower reading. And this is where you have to ask yourself: "What am I reading this for? What do I hope to get out of this? How well do I need to understand this?". The answer to these questions will inform your reading speed. |
