To me personally, I don't really use it except for novelty. When I buy stuff in-person, I use cash because no one needs to know who I am, what I buy, and where I shop; and that extends to everyone those stores and credit card companies share their data with. I use my credit card for online purchases, but I like the idea that even if the store knows where I live to ship me stuff, they can't see who else I shop with, or how much money I have. |
