Computer Science is like the physics of information and computability. Software Engineering is the other side of that coin, just like electrical or mechanical engineering is to physics. It is not an unusual position to be in. For some reason, we train people in the theoretical and expect them to be good at applications. Don't worry too much, focus on picking up Software Engineering concepts and know you are in the same boat as most new grads. |
