It is interesting to consider what the function of this kind of information is. I suspect the real purpose is to give the public warmer feelings when they discover that their local Congress person has received major donations from Northrop Grumman. And they can say “oh that’s the Mars sensor company” instead of thinking of the company’s other products. |
