This is backed up by Apple still selling Intel Mac Minis at the high end. They seem to think that product niche hasn’t been filled by the M1 mini yet.
If so I would expect the mini to be updated when M2 Pro is announced.
As long as they are constrained on M2 chips it probably isn’t worth the customer confusion to bring the Mini closer to the Studio.
