I started off with Arduino when I was 10 thanks to my dad so I could unironically say that I have 10 years of programming experience. You are a good dad man, your kid is going to remember your effort. Anyhow, other than buying a kit you should also consider getting a book even though there are probably loads of tutorials on YouTube explaining all of the basics. |
