It does feel like a Twilight Zone episode. In 2011, you could buy coffee and pizza w/ BTC (at non-conformist boutique shops but still). Now, not even those stores would accept it as a method of payment, and you'd be stupid to spend it on goods and services anyway, because BTC's value is wrapped up in the idea that it's a 'digital asset' instead of a currency. |
