throwaway since I have no interest in my coworkers seeing this... I have been at my current job for about 8 years. Throughout that time what I have done has morphed and I am having trouble knowing what sort of job to pursue in my search for the next one. What I do on an average week is the following: - Manage a small team of PMs that manage 2 different external design and development agencies
- Review data from surveys, tests, analytics and use that inform basic UX work that I do, that then a contractor then extrapolates to proper UX, UI and Design files
- Develop POC work to prove out product ideas or UX approaches. Basic stuff in SvelteKit, Handlebars, etc..
- Push the company forward in moving from monolithic CMSs to headless. Push UX approaches based on research and re-susablity. I have proven success with this model bringing in 4-5MM in new revenue via this tech stack
- Billing, Coaching, Roadmap Planning, Interviewing, etc.. I have about 18 years of work experience in digital. Mainly on the Project Manager, Product Manager and UX side. I enjoy being multi-faceted. Where I can think, design, pitch and prototype an idea before having my team develop it and then report on its success against predefined OKRs. Given all of this, what job title, or type of job should I look at? Any advice is welcome! |
