If your speedometer freezes on Carplay, I assume you can just unplug iPhone and get stock car speedometer. I would be concerned if iPhone controlled breaks, gas pedal or wheel but informational displays are fine. In addition, I have VW Tiguan with glass cockpit (or whatever you call it when it does not have mechanical speedometer) for about 3 years and it froze on me a couple of times. The only way to fix was to turn off/turn on the car. |
