JS is a punching bag because it’s a moving target that most everyone has to deal with at some point and pre-ES6 JS had quite a few warts. It’s a fine language now, especially with TypeScript helping to push things in the right direction. I left .NET land for this very reason. JS pales in comparison to .NET framework fatigue |
