Developing software absolutely can work like that if you don’t accept that shoddy workmanship is an acceptable cost to levy on your customers. I work on operating systems for a FANG company; I’m not unfamiliar with what “developing software” works like. It’s a choice to move fast and break things, not a requirement. |
