Yup, I fully agree, I think the "stress of the pandemic" execuse is very overused and often is not real.

For many students the pandemic was epic, no school for a while, unlimited gaming time, and nothing to stop them from doing what they wanted.

At least that's how I felt it, and they time I had definitely changes where I was heading in my life.
