It’s required by California state law to post all bills online along with associated vote tallies in committee and floor votes. The vote types are as follows: - Ayes (in favor),
- Noes (against),
- and No Vote Recorded (NVR; the equivalent of abstaining). Looks like the [most recent committee vote referred in the article for SB 8](https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/billVotesClient.xht...) is not online but will likely be by mid week. |
