This can cause an interesting loop with HA.

The "correct" way is to set up everything in HA and then link it to the Apple ecosystem with the HA integration.

If you set your stuff on HomeKit first and then enable the HA integration ... you'll have two of everything and a headache. Ask me how I know :D
