Just because someone doesn't outright tell you about a very general umbrella of post-acute symptoms doesn't mean it's not happening. Where exactly did you see this claim being made? The study is not suggesting Long COVID is killing people at scale, just that 1 in 5 adults are experiencing lingering symptoms that you wouldn't expect recovering from a common cold or flu. |
