Rich people have this sort of "everybody who is not me is either evil or a slacker" mentality.

It's true for both sides, matter of fact it's true for every side and everywhere.

But the petulancy of rich Californians is unrivaled, they don't even pretend to put together a coherent argument to express why people should put them in charge of organizations. "Current thing" what the hell does it even mean?

At least John Kerry and Larry Fink, the Davos crowd and all the proponents of ESG go through the effort of producing some 1500 pages documents with figures and numbers as opposed to blurting into the ether stuff like: "The current thing is truth"

I disagree about the petulance of rich Californians. Their petulance -- along with the persecution complex many rich Californians exhibit -- is generally exceeded by working-class white conservative Christians, incels, and Reddit users who have just gotten downvoted.

Not to mention Madison Cawthorn (R-Narnia). His petulance in the wake of his primary defeat and being dragged out of the closet threatens to eclipse that of his entire constituency.
