This sounds like a hype that is going to die at some point. SQLite has its own uses in client devices and small webservers, but it is not built to scale to millions of transactions per second. It is possible to build all kinds of cool things on top of SQLite, but most of these articles sound like it is going to replace PostgreSQL or MySQL. |
