That website is so bad, it misses all the important stuff. Any laptop from the last few years is easily fast enough for almost all developers. You don't need to tell developers that they can run multiple applications in parallel with 16GB of RAM. All this text about Popos could have been shortened to "100% linux compatible, no windows tax included".

What really matters for a dev laptop:

- keyboard: standard layout, great feel (like thinkpads 15 years ago; the keyboards have been gotten worse and worse since then)

- screen: resolution (personally I would like more than FHD), aspect ratio, viewing angles, reflectivity, color reproduction

- noise: is the machine completely silent in idle? Is it whisper quiet under heavy load? Does the fan remain off during short (<30s) load spikes?

- ports: How many USB? Ethernet? Thunderbolt for docking?

Also much more interesting than CPU/RAM:

- is the RAM user replacable?

- is the SSD user replacable? Can a second SSD be added?

- battery runtime?
