On the contrary, I see a good deal of value in catching murderers. I don't however see value in avenging the dead. Interesting, this is quite in line with how modern society currently operates. Serial killers will generally be convicted of only a handful the crimes they commit. The result is that although the dead are not avenged, the nuance to society is removed. |
