They upgraded the hinges at some point during manufacturing to address the screen falling down during light movement: https://frame.work/products/display-hinge-kit?v=FRANFB0001 I believe this upgraded lid assembly is to address the screen wobbling during typing. It's a very thin lid and has a lot of flex, so the tighter hinge just transfers the force into the lid, causing it to wobble. Hopefully this will be eliminated with this upgraded lid. |
