I would like to know this too, I'd never heard the phrase "Legacy G Suite" until this issue began to be discussed and then I started wondering whether GMail + a few files + occasional use of sheets/docs was that ?

If your email address is something @gmail.com you are very unlikely to be a legacy gsuite user
