It seems that the regulatory system is broken and I don't know how to fix it other than to remove the barriers of entry to this industry. Four manufacturers, consisting of 89% of the nations supply, have so much influence over a regulatory agency insofar that they can write their own rules. Four manufacturers are able to shape the competitive landscape because the government has deemed their voices vital. |
