The usual view of meritocracy is this sports-like idea of wanting to see each person's inherent capability shine though. Instead, we could give everyone the absolute best tech and social support, and only then evaluate performance, not of individuals, but of individuals+tech, the same way we evaluate a pilot's vision with their glasses on. |
