someone who has a billion dollar exit is in a somewhat better position to pay those taxes than a person scraping by on minimum wage. What you seem to be advocating for here is not less taxes but pushing the taxes downward to people who can less afford them. Maybe instead the federal government could do inventive things like substantially cut the military budget. |
