My question: Is OpenClass going to be hosted by Pearson or are they going to leave that up to the schools like Moodle does?

Just reminds me that "there's no such thing as a free lunch"...

It is hosted by Pearson. It is a cloud based service just like Google Apps. They do have a revenue model, although I am not sure it has been completely released yet.
