Not all businesses can be built from code alone, if mine could I wouldn't be asking this question. It's surely not impossible for me to build this from scratch, but the nature of it makes it an obvious second choice to hopping on board existing infrastructure. More of a regulatory issue than a talent issue.

Makes sense. Maybe if you ask yourself why those with the existing infrastructure dont already have a version of your idea implemented, it can help you identify the important parts of your pitch.
Yeah I appreciate that and will certainly add that reasoning in.
