Ask HN: Merchant of Record for Selling NFTs?

I believe that creating and selling NFT is similar to traditional B2C digital services.

Does anyone know of a merchant of record service for this kind of stuff?

Before suggesting Stripe do some research please, afaik they don’t have a merchant of record product. They can calculate all your vat etc but then you are supposed to register on every country and report/file/pay taxes

I don’t understand what merchant of record means. Opensea is the best market place.

OpenSea is not providing any tool for businesses to sell and be compliant with tax authorities. You sell to anons, don’t collect vat etc
