I usually buy a refurbished or new dell XPS-13 that is one or two generations behind the current Intel offering. Runs fedora and ubuntu perfectly and should cost about 1K. I usually get them on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325032670333?epid=28035701461&hash=... There's one with 16GB and a 4K screen. Get yourself a portable external monitor and you should be very productive. ' |
