Just wanted to know what it thought of grad school,

I asked: I made a young person work hard everyday for over 5 years while paying minimum wage. However I used their work to make a lot of money in the meantime.

NTA: That is illegal. You are paying them in a way that is below minimum wage. You are also keeping their work as your property. Copying it, changing it, and using it as your own. That is intellectual property theft.

YTA: You owe that person minimum wage, not to mention you scammed them out of a lot of money.

Tossup: You made a conscious decision to pay below minimum wage, knowing that this was the case you should be glad we are even discussing this. Now you want the world to see your generous side, but the fact is you used them and kept them in your debt.You are a huge asshole.

Grad school is so special that even the NTA bot thinks you are an asshole.
