AFAIK hidden hearing loss is due to synaptopathy (see Liberman's work). This work helps regrow hair cells, though. Does your Pure Tone Audiometry show any losses at all on your audiogram? It would be surprising that such an auditory insult had no damaging effect on your hair cells, so you may still benefit from this if it works.
