It's not about whether human can make a mistake or not. It's about how much effort should be made to prevent a certain type of human mistakes. If every system we're interacting daily should be fool-proof, it will requires enormous time and effort. Naturally, we invests more time and effort when it's about life and death situation. If we only lose 2 cents by our mistake, we just don't care. Of course, I'd like to have more fool-proof design in all the destructive interactions from all websites. But, the question is, does it worth it? |
