You're worrying overmuch about "the market". The US health care system is pretend free market. The government is paying for much of US health costs, and regulating various aspects of it. What really matters is how the government policies would change when it's moved from employers to people. The government is likely to pay the costs for low income people, which will also mean their wages are likely not to rise. |
