What's frustrating me the most is frameworks promising simplification, and then, after investing a considerable amount of time building things with these, they evolve into complex platform incompatible to your old code. Where "old" means 3-5 years. That's what's burning me out. Now I'd love to move to Svelte for some minimalism, but in 4 years Svelte2 will probably come out, being incompatible and unnecessarily complex. |
