Ask HN: Shall we make Stormkit an open source Vercel alternative?

Currently the frontend is open source but we're also considering open sourcing the backend. We have some pros and cons in mind but I'm not going to list them here to effect your thought process.

A little bit more context: Stormkit.io is a Vercel/Netlify alternative which allows users to host their application on different platforms like AWS S3 or BunnyCDN. We're a bootstrapped startup with 2 founders working part time on this.
