Cool! I hadn't heard of Overtone before, but I love the idea of live coding music.

People might also be interested in a similar project called Sonic Pi[1], which is Ruby based.

Actually the instruments that come with Sonic Pi are created in Overtone. Sam Aaron and I were expats and best friends living in Amsterdam, and we created Overtone together. He then went on to create SonicPi, and I joined DeepMind as the first employee.
