So SV pays 4-5x or 0.85-0.9x adjusting for cost of living And EU/Uk pays 2x or 0.4-0.5x adjusting for cost of living. Devs in India are getting paid _more_ now adjusting for cost of living.. It's just that, cost of living stops making sense after a specific amount. For a lot of things $1 = $1 You want to buy a laptop in India? still costs $2000. Vacation to Exotic Islands? Would still cost the same. |
