Well, there is the proof that it "cut a half hour", when you're talking about format. The rest doesn't really consist of confident assertions: it's pretty clear that it's the author's opinion. Which is hardly shocking as part of a general trend. Forget kids. For adults, conference presentations and a lot of other things have generally cut back and length. And, for me personally, it's mostly a good thing.
