"Is the Linux desktop heading south?" There is a whole world out there. I use fvwm as a "desktop environment"
with MC as file manager.
I also find the idea of "desktop environment" a bit old. Even on windows 10 every programm behaves differently. Even MS is not able to have a unique look and feel in its own programms. |
