I use linux exclusively for ~15 years on all my computers. Last year i bought a Ryzen5 PC with an RTX3070 after only using laptops for around 10 years. I absolutely expected difficulties with the GPU but it was all smooth sailing from the beginning. I through the newest Ubuntu on there and checked install non-free during the installation. I haven't had to deal with drivers at all for years now. |
