I "quit" for more than 2 years now after the company I was working on went bankrupt. Meanwhile, I am working on my "start-up" project (that I have been working on for 8+ years, always keeping it as a side-thing). I did apply to a few jobs (nothing really exciting) BUT having a side-project really scares away employers, they don't want someone that has multiple "things" on their mind (even though everyone does, be them start-up projects, hobbies, personal issues, etc.). |
