I haven't heard of those! Sounds like an adventure for next time I'm up there. It says that the marker is on Mattole Rd in Petrolia, so there's a good chance the well-heads are on private land. Definitely worth being wary of private land out there, I'm sure a lot of people in that area don't take too kindly to visitors. Somebody flew a drone over the compound you're talking about, it was up on YouTube for a while. Can't seem to find it now. |
