ZFS would kill the main reason alot of people use unRAID. which is the ability to use different sized disks with out sacrificing space, and the ability to adhoc add new disks ZFS would require the use of all the same size disk, or your udev would be limited to the size of your smallest disk, and make adding new disks much harder |
