I think I would feel more insulted if I discovered that I was rejected based on the color of my skin.

After recently making it through 2/3 interview sessions for a very niche technical role, I was told I was exactly what they were looking for, but that I wouldn't be allowed to proceed to the final round interview with the manager until they had found a "diverse" candidate to interview... ended up accepting an offer from another company 2 weeks later
