Many use other languages on the JVM. Scala, Clojure, Kotlin etc. Besides the naked functionality, the language communities and cultures have their varying strengths. Eg quality of answers or libraries you easily find. The years long constant stream of deserialization vulnerabilities, like yesterday's Spring RCE, are also largely absent from other JVM languages. |
