There was actually a pre processor that used the characters ᐸ and ᐳ as part of faked generics.
I'm pretty sure that was the joke.
I assumed it was APL at first.
That or BQN! I know APL enough to know it wasn't, but still, funny how quickly my mind tried to identify it.
That was my first thought as well. Only saw a language with those inverted triangle.
You can stick to ASCII if you wish.
