I'm not so sure the costs of running a university are going up. Here is expenditure data from the ed department: https://nces.ed.gov/programs/digest/d20/tables/dt20_334.10.a... Expenditure per full-time-equivalent student in constant 2019-20 dollars is up about 10% over a decade in the instructional and student services categories. That's not that much. (The total number is going up, driven by costs in hospital services, mostly) |
